D-Wade and Chris Bosh not playing against the Raps tonight

MIAMI—Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh and Ronny Turiaf will not play Wednesday night when the Miami Heat play host to the Toronto Raptors.
It will be the 14th game Wade has missed this season, mostly with a variety of injuries and more recently because of what the Heat are calling a “maintenance” program heading into post-season. Bosh will sit out for the fourth time, and Turiaf has been dealing with a sore hamstring for about a week.
Wednesday’s game starts a run of six games in nine nights to close the regular season for Miami, which plays host to Chicago on Thursday night in a game that could help eventually decide the top seed for the Eastern Conference playoffs.

The Return of King James

The most anticipated game of the NBA season will take place on Thursday night at 8:00 pm ET, when LeBron James and the Miami Heat play in the Quicken Loans Arena for the first time since James announce his decision to take his talent to south beach on July 8 during a televise show called "The Decision"

The anti-LeBron James feeling that has been building up in Cleveland will almost certainly be on full display. It will be one of those moment in sports history like never before. We have all seen how crazy Cleveland fans can get but I don't think we've witness anything like this before. Most people aren't upset with James leaving Cleveland the are upset with how he did it. It will be a very interesting atmosphere in Cleveland and James emotions will run high.

What will happen?

The game can be an opportunity for LeBron and the Heat to gain back momentum after a disappointment start.

Even though this is just one game the Cavaliers won't take this game lightly. I expect them to play hard like its the biggest games of their career - a play-off type of game.

Anything can happen on any given night in the NBA so don't count the Cavs out. If the Cavs win this will only add to the problems and frustrations for the Heat through the rest of the season.

Will the game be competitive?
Most people will be tuning in to see what happens before the game.

Will LeBron do his signature chalk power toss in the air?

Will the Cavs do a video tribute to LeBron similar to what the Knicks did for David Lee?

One thing is for sure, LeBron will get booed like crazy mean while Zydrunas Ilgauskas (Big Z) get cheered.

WE ARE ALL HERE TO WITNESS!

The NBA season starts tonight

The NBA season tip-off tonight at 7pm while Allen Iverson is expected to report to a Turkish team - isn’t he still one of the best players in the league? Regardless AI is still my favourite player. A sure Hall of Famer - He more than earned is respect. NBA fans want more AI! - Shame on the NBA.

A lot of things have transpired over the summer and I'm some what excited about how the season will turn out. Its gonna be a “BIG SEASON”

This season should be filled with lots of heat with Chris Bosh and Lebron James teaming up with Wade in Miami, three of the NBA's best players on one team. Lebron's "decision" ruin the heart of Cleveland. Its gonna be interested to see how the fans react when he return. Chris Bosh on the other hand is a different story. Bosh might be the only guy that doesn't get booed after leaving the Tdot. After seven seasons with the Raptors, Bosh only had two playoff appearances.

The Celtics will fight for what they believe is rightfully theirs. They have also made some big moves this off season adding veteran Shaquile O’neal, Jermaine O’neal & Delonte West to their roster. This team will give the Heats the toughest fight in the east. Two teams with three big stars each, going up against each other. Rajon Rando will be the difference maker. The Celtics is also a deeper team and will create havoc for Chris Bosh with their big front court. I personally would love to see the Celtics win another ring.

What’s going to happen in the west?

The sun won't rise in Phoenix liked it once did with the departure of Amare Stoudemire, only Steve Nash still remain from the elite Suns team. I wonder how long will Nash stay in Phoenix. He deserve a ring and won't get it there – blame bad management over the last few years for making bad moves.

The NBA champion Lakers got better with Matt Barnes - they want a 3-peat.

My Raptors are predicted to finish last. I hope we can prove them wrong.

KD is a beast - I wanna hear more "beat LA" chants this season.

Who will win the Championship? - Most likely Lakers, Celtics or Heats, but is it really to early to predict?

Chris Bosh, Kevin Garnet, Amare Stoudemire and Carlos Boozer - Will all of them make the east allstar?

There will be a lot more Bosh & Amare matchups – which is the better player?

Will Carmelo Anthony stay in Denver – he would be a good fit in New York under Mike D’Antoni’s system.

Who will be the most improve player this season?

Who will be MVP?

Who will be 6-man?

What about the Rookies? Who will be the Rookie of the year?
Its gonna be Blake Griffin or John Wall

My predictions for opening night are:

MIA at BOS – Celtics
PHX at POR – Blazers
HOU at LAL - Lakers
