    The Return of King James

The most anticipated game of the NBA season will take place on Thursday night at 8:00 pm ET, when LeBron James and the Miami Heat play in the Quicken Loans Arena for the first time since James announce his decision to take his talent to south beach on July 8 during a televise show called "The Decision"

The anti-LeBron James feeling that has been building up in Cleveland will almost certainly be on full display. It will be one of those moment in sports history like never before. We have all seen how crazy Cleveland fans can get but I don't think we've witness anything like this before. Most people aren't upset with James leaving Cleveland the are upset with how he did it. It will be a very interesting atmosphere in Cleveland and James emotions will run high.

    What will happen?

The game can be an opportunity for LeBron and the Heat to gain back momentum after a disappointment start.

Even though this is just one game the Cavaliers won't take this game lightly. I expect them to play hard like its the biggest games of their career - a play-off type of game.

Anything can happen on any given night in the NBA so don't count the Cavs out. If the Cavs win this will only add to the problems and frustrations for the Heat through the rest of the season.

    Will the game be competitive?
Most people will be tuning in to see what happens before the game.

Will LeBron do his signature chalk power toss in the air?

Will the Cavs do a video tribute to LeBron similar to what the Knicks did for David Lee?

One thing is for sure, LeBron will get booed like crazy mean while Zydrunas Ilgauskas (Big Z) get cheered.

WE ARE ALL HERE TO WITNESS!

Raptors fall to the Atlanta Hawks

No surprise that the Raptors lost to the Atlanta Hawks 96-78 a season low for the Raps. How many times is the media going to mention that Reggie Evans is not in the line up. Reggie isn't the reason for today's lost. They were out rebounded 44-41.The only thing that would have changed with Reggie in the line is that there would be more second chances and Josh Smith might not have had 13 rebounds.

Get over it! Raptors need to find ways to win without Reggie Evans. The fact is that Raptors live and die with the jump shot. You can't win consistently in the NBA if you are just a jump shooting team. Every time DeMar DeRozan drive to the hoop something positive happens. So why on almost every single position they settle for a jump shot? If you are an NBA team scouting the Raptors you let them take jump shots. Too easy for any NBA team.

Listening to the post game I can't blame coach Jay Triano he recognize the fact tha they need to "attack", you can't rely on the jump shot.

Apparently Reggie Evans is the best player on the Raptors from the media's emphasis on the fact that he is not in the line up, so why not build the team around Reggie...lol

My question is this, what would happen if let say Andrea Bargnani was to get injured? Would the Raptors have to fold for the remainder of the season?

    SMH... but everything still criss

    The Michael Vick Show

For those of y'all who missed the Philadelphia Eagles at Washington Redskins game tonight it was officially "The Michael Vick Show". Vick had an incredible game, completing his first 10 passes and finished 20 for 28 for 333 yards with four touchdowns. He also ran eight times for 80 yards and two touchdowns, moving past Steve Young and into second place in NFL history for yards rushing by a quarterback. Just hours after the Redskin offer his former team mate Donovan McNabb a 5 year 78 million deal, Vick and the Eagles embarrass their NFC East rivals 59-28. Vick became the first player in NFL history with at least 300 yards passing, 50 yards rushing, four passing touchdowns and two rushing touchdowns in a game.

Michael Vick on his way to become the player of the year. He hasn't thrown an interception or lost a fumble so far this season.

If MacNabb is worth 78 million at age 34. How much will the 30 year old Vick worth at the end of this season when he become a free agent? - I'm curious...

    Raptors season opener

Tonight is the second night of NBA season and there are 13 games schedule for tonight. I’m not going to make any predictions except my Raps will beat the Knicks tonight and Amare will probably score 40 points.
We have seen Triano made a lot of line up changes during the pre-season but hopefully tonight he will go with this staring line-up: Jarrett Jack, Sonny Weems, Linas Kleiza, Amir Johnson and Andrea Bargnani.
Here is my take on the players by position:
    Point Guard:
Raps have been using a combo point guard play for years but I think the staff needs to set one free from the other. Who will be the team leader on the floor?
I like the way Jarrett Jack play with the young gunz, he should get the starting position. He can run well with an athletic team in Toronto's up-tempo offense. I expect him to score more this season and from what I have seen in the preseason he has improved on his outside shooting. Jose Calderon can give you "25 minute" have good basketball - close to a double-double. Jose can help a playoff team win a championship. With Bosh out the picture it’s clear that the Raps direction as shifted. Triano have to give Jose minutes in order for his trade value to stay up. Raps are preaching defense this year and Jack can defend this position better.
    Shooting Guard:
Sonny Weems has the potential to be "most improve player". He just needs to work on his shot selection. He has the ability to score big numbers - from what I’ve seen at the end of last year and the preseason. If he focus on defends and let the offense come to him he can take up a lot of the Raptors scoring in Sonny Weems with Bosh out the picture.
Leondro Barbosa will be best off the bench. He is instant offense. I can see him averaging 18 points this season with the second unit - "6 man of the year" yep it’s possible.
    Small Forward:
DeMar DeRozan still have some physical growth to do, maybe another year and he can become a star in this league. He has the most hype coming into the season with all the Vince Carter comparison its up to him to prove it this year. He has shown that he his now focus on attacking the paint and as worked on his jumpshot over the summer. If he can knock down free throws consistently he should get major minutes backing up Linas Kleiza.
Coming off an impressive performance at the 2010 FIBA World Championship with the Lithuanian national team this summer leading his team to win bronze - averaging 19.0 ppg, 7.1 rpg. Kleiza's game as improved since his days in Denver. If you watched him played with the Nuggets then you know this guy can play. The Raptors got the best under the radar player this season. He will challenge Andrea as the raptors scoring leader. Because of his ability to rebound at 6'8" he can also play some minutes as a small power forward.
    Power Forward:
Amir Johnson and Reggie Evans have similarity to their game. Amir is a better all around player and should be starting power forward. He is capable of knocking down mid range shots, staying out of "fouling trouble" is the key for Amir Johnson. Reggie Evans brings toughness those players like Amir can gain good experience from. Reggie has always been one of the league's best rebounder per minutes played.
Ed Davis is the Raps lottery pick - I'm not sure what he can do but he as lots of similarity to Chris Bosh and we all know what he can do. Both left handed and I believe Ed said on draft night that Bosh was is favourite player. How ironic.
    Center:
I think the Raps need help at this position the most. They need a natural center. I'm not sure if Andrea Bargnani can be as effective banging with centers all season. I think Bargnani is a big small forward and would be better at the power forward position. Bargnani needs to be a beast this year. If he can average 17 pts with Bosh there he should be able to add another 5 points at the least with Bosh gone.
As for the other players not mentioned -  Joey Dorsey, Julian Wright, David Anderson, Marcus Banks, Solomon Alabi and Ronald Dupree haven't proven that they deserve regular minutes in the rotation. All I can say is David Anderson got game, a 7 footer that can shoot the ball and isn't afraid of contact.

Check this out on YouTube crazy collaboration - Jah Cure "LIKE I SEE IT" featuring Mavado & Rick Ross.

    The NBA season starts tonight

The NBA season tip-off tonight at 7pm while Allen Iverson is expected to report to a Turkish team - isn’t he still one of the best players in the league? Regardless AI is still my favourite player. A sure Hall of Famer - He more than earned is respect. NBA fans want more AI! - Shame on the NBA.

A lot of things have transpired over the summer and I'm some what excited about how the season will turn out. Its gonna be a “BIG SEASON”

This season should be filled with lots of heat with Chris Bosh and Lebron James teaming up with Wade in Miami, three of the NBA's best players on one team. Lebron's "decision" ruin the heart of Cleveland. Its gonna be interested to see how the fans react when he return. Chris Bosh on the other hand is a different story. Bosh might be the only guy that doesn't get booed after leaving the Tdot. After seven seasons with the Raptors, Bosh only had two playoff appearances.

The Celtics will fight for what they believe is rightfully theirs. They have also made some big moves this off season adding veteran Shaquile O’neal, Jermaine O’neal & Delonte West to their roster. This team will give the Heats the toughest fight in the east. Two teams with three big stars each, going up against each other. Rajon Rando will be the difference maker. The Celtics is also a deeper team and will create havoc for Chris Bosh with their big front court. I personally would love to see the Celtics win another ring.

What’s going to happen in the west?

The sun won't rise in Phoenix liked it once did with the departure of Amare Stoudemire, only Steve Nash still remain from the elite Suns team. I wonder how long will Nash stay in Phoenix. He deserve a ring and won't get it there – blame bad management over the last few years for making bad moves.

The NBA champion Lakers got better with Matt Barnes - they want a 3-peat.

My Raptors are predicted to finish last. I hope we can prove them wrong.

KD is a beast - I wanna hear more "beat LA" chants this season.

Who will win the Championship? - Most likely Lakers, Celtics or Heats, but is it really to early to predict?

Chris Bosh, Kevin Garnet, Amare Stoudemire and Carlos Boozer - Will all of them make the east allstar?

There will be a lot more Bosh & Amare matchups – which is the better player?

Will Carmelo Anthony stay in Denver – he would be a good fit in New York under Mike D’Antoni’s system.

Who will be the most improve player this season?

    Who will be MVP?

    Who will be 6-man?

What about the Rookies? Who will be the Rookie of the year?
Its gonna be Blake Griffin or John Wall

My predictions for opening night are:

    MIA at BOS – Celtics
    PHX at POR – Blazers
    HOU at LAL - Lakers
